North of Seattle in Stanwood sits Kayak Point Disc Golf Resort, a 290-acre property with four distinct 18-hole courses cut through tall evergreens and rolling former ball-golf fairways. Players check in at the clubhouse Pro Shop, rent a cart for select layouts, and can grab a bite at Aces BBQ & Grill when it’s open. Kayak Point Disc Golf Resort Courses Overview
Kayak Point was once a traditional golf course. Today the land hosts a full disc golf complex with clear identities for each track. Gold is the championship test with long par-4s and par-3s that demand placement and clean upshots. Blue lives in the forest with tight gaps and steady climbs and drops. The Red course uses more open corridors on the old fairways, with reachable par-4s and forgiving rough. It also has a shorter “Green” setup that trims both length and par. The free Pitch & Putt circles ponds and landscape features near the clubhouse and works for true beginners as a par-3 loop or as a par-2 challenge for confident putters.
Hole-by-Hole Highlights
-
Gold Long par 4s and technical par 3s through tall timber. Precise tee shots set up second throws. Even par plays to about a 1000-rated round.
-
Blue Fully wooded lines with heavy elevation. Tight fairways reward control more than power.
-
Red (Red layout) Mostly open landing areas on former fairways with baskets and tees tucked into trees. Multiple par 4s create scoring chances.
-
Red (Green layout) Shorter version of Red with friendlier distances and lower par. A good step up from the Pitch & Putt.
-
Pitch & Putt (Purple) Short holes with turf pads and Mach VII baskets around ponds, fountains, and waterways. Play as par 3 if you’re new or par 2 if you want a putting challenge. Free during open hours.
