Profile
Neighborhood Fairways at Roy Tedford Park Disc Golf Course
Roy Tedford Park packs a complete round into a small city green next to Grant Elementary School. Fairways weave through tall shade trees and cross low mounds, giving the loop a park-like feel without long walks. Distances sit under 400 feet, yet well-placed trunks force low skips, gentle turnovers, and straight drives. Rubber tee pads are grippy, and each basket is easy to spot against the grass.
There are no tee signs, so most players open the course map on their phone or print the scorecard before arriving. The layout is beginner-friendly but still fun for seasoned arms looking to shape lines with mids and putters. A loop takes about 40 minutes on a quiet day.

Rates • Booking • Local Tips
Play is always free and first-come. Evenings can get busy with locals walking dogs and kids moving between school and park, so plan a slower pace after class lets out. Bright discs help in afternoon shade under the big pines. Wind is usually light, but when it kicks up from the Columbia River it funnels down 1st Street and pulls shots on holes 6 and 8 toward the fence line. No tee signs means first-timers benefit from a printed map or a quick look at UDisc.Â
